Investment Learning Events

Join us throughout 2025 for workshops, seminars, and discussions focused on building real financial knowledge. Meet people who've been where you are and instructors who work in the field.

What's Coming Up

Most of our events happen on weekday evenings at our Halifax location. Some are virtual. And honestly, they fill up quicker than we expect sometimes – especially the smaller workshop sessions.

We keep things practical. You won't get sales pitches or abstract theories. Just straightforward conversations about markets, strategies, risk management, and the mistakes people actually make with money.

Multi-Week Learning Series

Beyond one-off events, we run deeper programs that meet weekly over several months. These are for people who want structured progression and consistent practice with concepts.

Our autumn series starts in late September and runs through November. Topics build week to week, so you develop understanding gradually instead of cramming everything into one session.

  • Weekly Sessions
Eight consecutive weeks covering fundamental to intermediate investing concepts with time to absorb between meetings.
  • Practice Exercises
Real scenarios to work through between sessions. Not homework exactly, but practice that makes the concepts stick.
  • Small Group Format
We cap these at 15 people so there's room for questions and actual discussion, not just lectures to a crowd.

I'd been putting off learning about investing for years because it felt overwhelming. The workshops at Cralvex broke things down in a way that actually made sense. No jargon dumping, no pressure. Just clear explanations and real examples. After three months of their evening sessions, I finally set up my first proper portfolio. Felt like a huge weight off my shoulders.
